Danielle Tucker

Mother & Graphic designer

Danielle Tucker is Eva’s Mummy, as well as a full-time mum to Brandon and a Director of her own graphic design business (as you can guess she designed, the branding for the event as well as built and designed the website). She has been in the graphic design industry for 12 years and graduated from the Norwich School of Art and Design in 2006 with a First in Graphic Design specialising in Design for Publishing. She has worked in smaller local design agencies and larger corporate London firms since graduating, and absolutely loves what she does.

Dani also started the Eva Tucker Brighter Future Fund which has done numerous fundraising events for Great Ormond Street Hospital. You can see more of what they have achieved here.

She became close friends with Victoria through her son, as Vicky was his Key Person at Bridge Farm Nursery before and during and after Eva’s birth. The two bonded over Eva’s story and how best to support her son through such a tough time. Dani was thinking of doing a ball in memory of Eva when Victoria contacted her offering her help and support and that is how the ‘In the Stars’ Charity Ball was born.

Victoria Green

mother & Nursery Nurse

Victoria Green is a mummy to two beautiful girls Alexa Ngaire and Keira Willow. Also a qualified level 4 nursery nurse and qualified Special Educational Needs Co ordinator. Vicci has always had a strong passion for working with and caring for children in the Early Years. Whilst being a childminder Vicci was given the opportunity to move to Australia to help a ‘mindee’ family settle in as they emigrated. It was here that Vicci met her now husband Jon before moving home and beginning a family.

While working at Bridge Farm Vicci developed a wonderful bond with Dani and Dan’s gorgeous little boy and it was during this time Vicci learnt the story of his baby sister Eva.

Vicci was devastated to hear the news of Eva's passing and contacted Dani about having a charity ball in Eva's honour.

In 2015 Vicci's father passed away from a multitude of different cancers and two weeks after suffering from a large seizure he passed away with his family around him. Early on in his diagnosis Vicci had spoken to her dad about wanting to fundraise in aid of Cancer research or something similar, and his one wish was that she 'do it for the children, combine your passions.'

With this in mind and knowing a wonderful family that wanted to raise as much as they could, the 'In the Stars Charity Ball' came to life!

Since being involved with ‘The in the Stars’ Charity Ball Vicci’s daughter Keira has also recently been extremely ill and referred to Great Ormond Street Hospital for renal and kidney specialist care. She wasn’t expecting to go there as a patient’s parent but after hearing how fondly Dani speaks of GOSH she knows Keira will receive the best care, support and treatment possible.

Caroline Pennington is mummy to three children – Sophie, Jamie and Chloe – who she encourages every day to help others and, above all else, be kind.

Sophie is 11, Jamie and Chloe are twins aged 10, so as you can imagine some days this goes like a dream (#nailingit) and other days they need far greater ‘encouragement’... But the importance of understanding that others will need help, and you don’t always know why they are feeling as they are, is something close to her heart.

Caroline has known Dani for about ten years, starting in a professional capacity when they met through work and Dani’s design work. Caroline has worked with Dani ever since in her corporate marketing roles and other interests (and would recommend Dani to anybody and everybody for her incredible design work.) But it is as a friend that Caroline has the greatest respect for Dani and for exactly this kind of event she is organising now. Throwing her efforts into incredible fundraising through the ‘In the Stars’ Charity Ball, which Caroline is very proud – and hugely happy - to support.

Err hello, the chance to get dressed up, eat delicious food, drink fizz and dance the night away while raising loads of money for such an incredible charity. What, as they say, is not to like?
